This gun DOES have that assist pin.The Ithaca, made by SKB is a very well made shotgun. In most cases, the shotguns will have a serial number prefixes of either NS, NSG, NA, and AS. Does anyone know where I can find information on Parker Hale serial numbers. Are there any resources out there for getting this dated (once I find the serial number)? I know that at some year they quit using the little pin on the magazine tube screw ring, but I can't remember what year that is.
